I’m a filmmaker, stop-motion animator, modelmaker, screenwriter and concept artist. I was born in Buenos Aires and moved to Spain when I was eleven.
For nearly fifteen years I’ve worked as a stop-motion animator on several productions around the world, including series, short films and feature films such as Wes Anderson’s Oscar-nominated Isle of Dogs.
As a filmmaker, I've co-directed the short films Metamorfosis and Todo está perdido, and directed Proceso de selección on my own.
All three were nominated for the Goya Awards and selected at festivals such as Annecy, Cannes, Sitges, Clermont-Ferrand and Zagreb.
I’m interested in unsettling and tragic characters, human relationships, inner conflicts and the complex web of emotions and thoughts that shape the way we act.
Alongside my personal work, I’ve also worked independently on commercials and promotional videos, handling animation, character design, modelling and fabrication, as well as direction.
I recently finished my latest stop-motion short film, Algo en la casa, on which I worked as co-producer and director.
I also teach stop-motion animation workshops focused on audiovisual storytelling, script development and character creation.
