Happyverse

Design, fabrication and stop-motion animation of a character for Happyverse, a hybrid short film mixing live action, puppetry, stop motion and 2D animation.

For this project I developed the character from the initial concept through to the puppet’s construction (in collaboration with Pablo Masip) and subsequent animation. The design was based on a premise proposed by the directors, who suggested a character that would sit somewhere between the visual worlds of pornography and kittens.
